ImmunoVaccine Inc. is seeking a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the President & CEO, you must be able to work effectively with the executive team and board. The CFO is responsible for producing monthly and quarterly financial statements and providing analysis, evaluation, and planning related to business activities, strategic alliances, and financing activities.
We are seeking a highly motivated and focused individual interested in an exciting opportunity with our vibrant and growing biotech company. You will work with the team executing all aspects of finance and accounting from the company’s corporate office in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Your leadership will ensure effective and timely financial reporting and regulatory compliance, in a public company environment, while having involvement in decision making and future business strategies.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing the financial activities of a public company. You will find yourself working closely with staff, auditors and legal counsel. You will also have an opportunity to work with analysts, institutional and financial partners.
Applicants should possess:
• A professional CA designation.
• A strong understanding of the public company disclosures and financial regulatory requirements.
• Ideally, strategic finance experience in: mergers and acquisitions; partnerships and in/out licensing; interaction with analysts and investment bankers
• Effective communication, negotiation, problem solving and presentation skills.

Lead and participate in designing and executing various research programs in cancer and infectious diseases. A broad in-depth knowledge of vaccines and strong leadership and communication skills are required. Immunovaccine’s patented vaccine delivery system, DepoVax™, is now in the clinical stage and is applicable for the enhancement of cancer and infectious disease vaccines.
